I have seen many beautiful quilts that my great-grandmother made. And sadly remember stories of splenid ones that were lost or stolen when she had to leave her beloved farm house.
My efforts are not nearly as elaborate or well done. This is a quilt I made for my daughter out of scraps. I’d say a tolerable effort nonetheless.
And here is one that I made for my son out of scraps of feece. It’s an easy rag quilt. You just sew the squares in to strips leaving about 1 inch around the edge of each seam, then sew the strips together, and snip the edges when you’re done. In the end it’s something cute and cozy for the winter.
